The team of the Walking Committee of Haute-Loire welcomes you in its shop La Croisée des Chemins, situated in the historic center of Le Puy-en-Velay. Representative of the French Federation at the regional level, but also hiking area and shop, it’s the address to keep in mind for those who want to know everything about hiking, the license, insurance and specific training to practice hiking.
In La Croisée des Chemins, you will find all the information to well prepare your hike: TopoGuides, IGN maps, useful guidebooks (tips and accommodation), documentations, etc. But also the calendar of all the hikes planned for the year, the hiking clubs of Haute-Loire and their programs.
A section hiking equipment is also at your disposal, you will find the essential to bring with you in your backpack! Walking pole, flask, knives, headlamp or first aid kit… and some technical brands such as Guidetti , Forclaz ou Bivouac

From October the 1st to April the 30th: non-stop opening from 9 am to 5 pm.
From May the 1st to September the 30th: opening from 9 am to 12 pm, and from 2 pm to 7 pm.
